Getting Started
LISC is always accepting requests for its NMTCs. We maintain an active pipeline of potential projects throughout the year.
LISC invests its NMTCs in both real estate and business QALICBs, including commercial, industrial, community facilities, and mixed use projects. Our investments range from $5.0 million to $15.0 million, and our ideal transaction size is $10 million. We will, however, invest in larger projects with multiple CDEs.
To submit your request for LISC NMTCs, please fill out the LISC NMTC Preliminary Project Information Form, which provides us with the information necessary to review your project. To complete this form online, please go to the following link: LISC NMTC Preliminary Project Information Form. To fill out a MS Word version of the form, please click here and email it to one of the two contacts below.
Once we review the completed form and confirm that the project is 1) eligible for NMTCs, 2) located within an area that is served by LISC, and 3) a project that LISC would like to consider further, your next step is to fill out Part A of the LISC NMTC Intake Form. To download this form in MS Word, please go to this link: LISC NMTC Intake Form. Once completed, NMSC and LISC will review your project in terms of its potential community impacts, the extent to which the project will further LISC local programs, and its financial feasibility and overall readiness to close. Once completed, please email the form to any of the three aforementioned contacts.
